Roost mitigation is vital to the conservation and long term management of urban bat populations.

Roost mitigation benefits the public and local community as well as the bats, simply by providing bats with a safe alternative to buildings.

We strongly encourage the installation of Bat Houses or similar alternate roost site to mitigate roost loss.

Roost Mitigation (bat houses) should be in place as early as possible prior to planned roost disturbance and as close as possible to the original roost site.
